Civil Society Dialogue-II: Culture and Arts

The Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) on behalf of the Republic of Turkey is seeking proposals for promoting dialogue and understanding among the civil societies of Turkey, other Candidate Countries and EU counterparts on Culture and Arts with financial assistance of the EU from the 2007 Programming under Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).

Projects may include organisation of/participation to fairs, concerts, celebrations, competitions, award ceremonies, congress, conferences, seminars, symposiums, workshops, exhibitions, installations and similar art-related activities, circulation of art collections, exchange of knowledge regarding archeological studies, awareness raising activities, creation of short films and other relevant activities that may encourage the cooperation among cultural and artistic operators.

Civil Society Dialogue-II: Agriculture and Fisheries Grant Scheme Programme

Civil Society Dialogue between Turkey and the EU is one of the most important pillars in Turkey's EU accession process. Civil Society in both Turkey and in the EU Member States has much to offer to the ongoing Turkey's accession process and has an important role to play in facilitating a dialogue where concerns and perceptions can be discussed in a frank and open manner. 

As a continuation of the Civil Society Dialogue Project-I which involves the implementation of four Grant Schemes on Towns and Municipalities; Professional Organizations, Universities; Youth Initiatives for Dialogue, the implementation of the Civil Society Dialogue-II, financed under 2007 programme of Instrument for Pre-accession (IPA), is started by 18 December 2009. The Project provides the implementation of two Grant Schemes aiming to establish a framework for cooperation; supporting the establishment of partnerships; and promoting dialogue between the civil societies of Turkish and EU counterparts on Fisheries and Agriculture and Culture and Arts.

Civil Society Dialogue-II: Agriculture and Fisheries Grant Scheme Programme is announced by the contracting authority Central Finance and Contract Unit (http://www.mfib.gov.tr). The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to enable potential beneficiaries to gain a better knowledge and understanding of the European Union policy and practices and to be prepared for accession through strengthening the contacts and mutual exchange of experience between all actors in agriculture, food safety, veterinary and phytosanitary as well as fishery sectors of civil society in the Member States and Turkey.
